Deeksharambh - Orientation Program for 27th Batch Students

The Students and Parents Orientation Program - “DEEKSHARAMBH” for the 27th Batch MBA students were conducted at the Swarna Auditorium on 18th October 2025. The event was organized to warmly welcome the new batch and to introduce them, along with their parents, to the institution’s academic environment, culture, rules, values, and expectations. The program began with a Welcome Address by Ms. Divya Achar, Assistant Professor, who greeted the students and parents and highlighted the role of cooperation among students, parents, and the institution in achieving holistic growth. Dr. Molly S. Chaudhuri, Director, MSNIM, delivered an insightful session titled “About MSNIM.” She introduced the institute’s mission, vision, legacy, and achievements while emphasizing discipline, continuous learning, professional values, and holistic development. Her words motivated students to prepare themselves for a productive and meaningful MBA journey.

Following the formal inauguration, the faculty members conducted a series of academic briefings to provide students and parents with a comprehensive understanding of the MBA curriculum, campus life, and the various support systems available at MSNIM.

    Mrs. Nanditha Sunil, Assistant Professor, outlined the institution’s key rules and regulations, covering essential areas such as discipline and code of conduct, attendance and leave policies, dress code expectations, examination procedures, proper use of campus facilities, and the importance of upholding ethical behaviour and values within the institution.
  2. About the Curriculum
    Dr. Shilpi Saha, Associate Professor and Academic Coordinator, provided a detailed overview of the MBA curriculum, including the program structure, core and elective subjects, internal assessment methods, university examination framework, project work requirements, and the value-added courses and practical components incorporated into the program.
  3. Co-curricular & Extra-curricular Activities
    Dr. Aditi Kamath, Assistant Professor, highlighted the wide range of co-curricular and extra-curricular opportunities available to students, such as cultural events like Edify and Vibes, sports activities, management fests, guest lectures, club initiatives, and social outreach programs conducted under the Chilume, Chaithanya, and Samanvaya units.
  4. Placement, Industrial Visits & Internship
    Mrs. Arpitha Devadiga, Assistant Professor, explained the various placement-related activities offered by the institute, including placement training modules, resume-building and interview preparation sessions, industrial exposure visits, internship opportunities, and the structured campus recruitment process designed to enhance students’ employability.

Special Addresses

Mr. Ajith Kamath, Correspondent of MSNIM, addressed the gathering by encouraging students to become proactive learners and responsible future professionals, while also expressing appreciation to the parents for their consistent support and guidance.

Following this, Mrs. Shivani Baliga, Governing Council Member of WNES, introduced the Bajaj Finserv Bridge Course and explained how the program is designed to enhance students’ employability and improve their industry readiness through practical learning modules.

The event was smoothly anchored by Ms. Manasa, Assistant Professor, who served as the Master of Ceremony.
