Budget Analysis: Bridge to tomorrow building a better future
Manel Srinivas Nayak Institute of Management (MSNIM), in association with IQAC, successfully organized a program titled “Bridge to Tomorrow - Building a Better Future”, focusing on an analysis of the Union Budget 2026 announced by the Government of India. The session was held on 20th February 2026 at 9:30 AM in the Swarna Academy Hall, MSNIM Besant Campus, Bondel.
The session was led by CA Anwesh Shetty, Chartered Accountant and Managing Partner of ASCA LLP, who served as the resource person. He highlighted key aspects of the Union Budget and guided students in identifying important topics for presentation. He also shared expert insights on recent budget amendments, offered constructive feedback on student presentations, and clarified various concepts discussed during the session.
Students actively participated by delivering presentations on a range of topics categorized under Direct Tax and Indirect Tax. These presentations emphasized recent amendments, policy reforms, and regulatory developments.
The program effectively bridged the gap between academic learning and professional practice. It provided students with:
- Exposure to current tax reforms and compliance requirements
- Practical insights from an industry expert
- Enhanced presentation and analytical skills
- Improved confidence in handling technical financial concepts
The session concluded with an engaging interaction round, followed by a formal vote of thanks. Gratitude was extended to the resource person, faculty members, organizing committee, and students for their active participation.
Overall, the program served as a meaningful initiative in preparing students for future professional challenges and truly embodied the theme “Bridge to Tomorrow - Building a Better Future.”
