Provisional Installation Ceremony of Office Bearers (Rotaract Club of MSNIM )

The Rotaract Club of Manipal Srinivas Nayak Institute of Management (MSNIM), sponsored by the Rotary Club of Mangalore North (RID 3181), successfully organized the Provisional Installation Ceremony of the Office Bearers for the academic year 2025–2026 on 04 February 2026 at Swarna Academy Hall, MSNIM, Bondel, at 11.00 a.m. The programme commenced with an invocation prayer by the students, seeking blessings for the successful conduct of the ceremony. The gathering was warmly welcomed by Rtr. Sneha S. Kamath, who greeted the dignitaries, Rotarians, faculty members, and students present on the occasion.

The ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries symbolized the spirit of knowledge, leadership, and service. Rtr. Sinchana H. S. formally introduced the guests and Rotarians, acknowledging their valuable contributions and association with the institution.

A major highlight of the programme was the installation of the newly elected office bearers of the Rotaract Club. The installation ceremony was officiated by Rtn. PDG Krishna Shetty, who formally handed over the gavel and collars to the newly installed President, Rtr. Arpitha N. Shettigar. In her acceptance speech, the President expressed her commitment to leading the club with dedication and outlined her vision for the forthcoming Rotaract year.

The Secretary’s Report was presented by Rtr. Bhagirath, who provided an overview of the proposed activities and initiatives planned for the year 2025–2026. Addressing the gathering, Dr. Arun Kumar Shetty, President of Rotary Club of Mangalore North, motivated students to uphold Rotary values and actively participate in community service initiatives. In his address, Installation Officer Rtn. PDG Krishna Shetty emphasized the importance of leadership, discipline, and the Rotary principle of “Service Above Self.” Dr. Molly S. Chaudhuri, Director of MSNIM, encouraged students to maintain a balance between academics and social responsibility through active participation in Rotaract activities.

The Chief Guest, Mr. Manel Annappa Nayak, President of Women’s National Education Society (WNES), delivered an inspiring speech highlighting the significance of youth leadership, ethical values, and community engagement in shaping responsible citizens. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Rtr. Jenisha D’Souza, who expressed gratitude to all dignitaries, organizers, faculty members, and students for their support and participation. The ceremony ended with the singing of the National Anthem.

The event was conducted under the guidance of Rotaract Student Advisor Mr. Sukesh Rao Pejawar and was efficiently compered by Rtr. Sneha S. Kamath, ensuring the smooth and successful execution of the programme. The installation ceremony marked the beginning of a new Rotaract year filled with enthusiasm, leadership, teamwork, and a strong commitment to community service.
