Chilume - 2025

June 20, 2025

As part of its academic curriculum and social responsibility initiative, the students and faculty of Manel Srinivas Nayak Institute of Management (MSNIM) organized a community engagement program titled “Chilume” at Government Model Higher Primary School, Kavoor. The program aimed to create a joyful, meaningful, and enriching experience for school children through a blend of educational and recreational activities.

The event commenced with a prayer session led by Pallavi and her team, setting a positive and respectful tone for the day. This was followed by a powerful and sensitively performed mime on the theme “Good and Bad Touch”, aimed at creating awareness among children in an age-appropriate manner. The performance effectively conveyed an important social message and was well received by the audience.

Adding to the vibrancy of the event, MSNIM students presented an energetic dance performance that drew enthusiastic applause. A series of interactive games were then organized for students across different age groups, fostering excitement, participation, teamwork, and joy. Another impactful mime on Water Safety highlighted the importance of responsible water usage and safety practices, reinforcing awareness through creative expression.
