World Humanitarian Day

August 19, 2025

World Humanitarian Day was celebrated on August 19, 2025, by the students of Batch 2025 and Batch 2026 with the objective of fostering compassion, service, and social responsibility. The celebration encouraged students to participate actively and contribute through thoughtful acts of kindness that embodied the true essence of humanitarian service.

The event featured a variety of initiatives through which students extended support to their peers, community, animals, and the environment. Under academic support and peer learning, students helped classmates prepare presentations, guided juniors in their studies, and shared knowledge to promote collaborative growth. Acts of kindness included feeding stray dogs, assisting hostel staff and canteen workers with food preparation and meal service, and donating blood to save lives.

In promoting environmental sustainability and cleanliness, students watered plants, assisted gardeners, created awareness about water conservation, and participated in cleanliness drives to maintain a healthy campus. Their community-oriented efforts also included supporting hostel mates and helping elders by watering plants and contributing to a cleaner, greener environment.

These collective activities reflected humanitarian values such as empathy, selflessness, and responsibility towards society and nature. The students’ actions not only benefitted those directly involved but also inspired the wider community to appreciate how small, everyday acts can lead to significant positive change.

The observance of World Humanitarian Day 2025 concluded successfully with enthusiastic participation from both batches. The celebration served as a meaningful reminder that humanitarianism extends beyond large-scale initiatives—it thrives in simple, consistent acts of care and compassion practiced in daily life.
