Voices unplugged on the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas by Bellala Gopinath Rao

On the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas, the IKS Cell of Manel Srinivas Nayak Institute of Management (MSNIM), Bondel, Mangalore, organized a special session titled “Voices Unplugged” on July 26, 2025, to pay tribute to the valor and sacrifices of the Indian Armed Forces.

The highlight of the session was an inspiring address by Sri Bellala Gopinath Rao, a retired Civil Engineer from the Indian Armed Forces and a noted social worker. Drawing from his rich experience in military service and years of community engagement post-retirement, Sri Gopinath Rao shared heartfelt reflections on the discipline, courage, and sacrifices that define a soldier’s life. He emphasized the importance of self-discipline, patriotism, and moral responsibility, leaving a deep impression on the audience.

Dr. Molly S. Chaudhuri, Director of MSNIM, addressed the gathering and underscored the significance of remembering national heroes. She encouraged students to imbibe the timeless values of courage, commitment, and service to the nation.

The session began with a warm welcome by Ms. Deekshitha, and the event was smoothly compered by Ms. Shreya S as the Master of Ceremonies. The session concluded with a formal vote of thanks by Mr. Kiran, who expressed gratitude to the guest speaker and all contributors to the successful conduct of the event.

“Voices Unplugged” served as a meaningful platform for reflection, dialogue, and learning, inspiring students to appreciate the service of our armed forces and reflect on their roles and responsibilities as responsible citizens.
