Vanamahotsava - A Step Towards a Greener Future
The Institute celebrated Vanamahotsava with great enthusiasm on 30th July 2025. The event reflected the institute’s commitment to environmental conservation and saw active participation from students, faculty, and invited dignitaries.
The celebration commenced with a prayer that set a calm and reflective tone for the day. A symbolic watering of the plant marked the formal inauguration, underscoring the event’s core message of nurturing nature and promoting sustainability.
The Chief Guest, Mr. Yathish Baikampady, a renowned environmentalist and social activist, delivered an impactful speech emphasizing the critical role of community participation in environmental preservation. He inspired the students to take proactive steps in tree planting and maintenance, reminding everyone that small efforts today can lead to a sustainable tomorrow.
Dr. Molly S. Chaudari, Director, MSNIM spoke about the power of individual action in creating a green and healthy future. She appreciated MSNIM’s initiative in hosting such a meaningful event and urged students to carry forward the message of ecological responsibility.
The event was smoothly compered by Ms. Prajna, a first-year MBA student, who also extended a heartfelt vote of thanks to the dignitaries, faculty, and students for their enthusiastic participation.
The program concluded with a tree plantation drive on the campus, symbolizing the institute’s enduring commitment to environmental stewardship.
