Udaan - 2025 (A Besant Women’s College Connect Program)
Manel Srinivas Nayak Institute of Management (MSNIM), Bondel, Mangalore, successfully hosted Udaan - Your Journey to New Heights, a Besant Women’s College (BWC) Connect Program, on Wednesday, 16th April 2025. The event aimed to foster stronger academic and professional ties between MSNIM and BWC.
Inauguration Ceremony
The program commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by:
- Prof. Rajashekara Hebbar (Administrative Officer, WNES)
- Dr. Manjula K T (Vice President, WNES & Correspondent, BWC)
- Mr. Manel Annappa Nayak (President, WNES)
- Dr. Molly S. Chaudhuri (Director, MSNIM)
In his inaugural address, Prof. Rajashekara Hebbar praised MSNIM as an excellent institution for MBA aspirants, offering a platform for holistic academic and professional development.
Dr. Manjula K T emphasized that an MBA is not just a degree but a transformative journey that shapes a student’s vision and objectives, noting that MSNIM provides the right environment for this growth.
Mrs. Yashmitha Alva, an alumna and current faculty member, shared her inspiring journey, highlighting how MSNIM had prepared her for corporate success.
Mr. Manel Annappa Nayak reassured students and parents about the safety and nurturing environment at MSNIM, noting the institute’s consistent record of alumni achievements.
Dr. Molly S. Chaudhuri spoke about the significance of an MBA as a leadership qualification and described MSNIM as an ideal training ground for students aspiring to excel in the corporate sector.
As part of the event, 45 meritorious students from MSNIM who excelled in their second semester were honored with the Academic Excellence Award, along with a cash prize of ₹2500 each, in recognition of their outstanding academic performance.
To provide a glimpse into the collaborative learning environment at MSNIM, various engaging activities were conducted, including:

These sessions encouraged participation and enthusiasm from students and faculty members of both MSNIM and BWC.
The program concluded with a detailed campus orientation for visiting BWC students, offering them an overview of the facilities, resources, and opportunities available at MSNIM.
