Thiruvonam 2K25 was celebrated with great enthusiasm and cultural spirit on 6th September 2025, bringing together students, faculty, and staff to honor the traditions of Onam while fostering unity and joy on campus.

The celebration commenced with Masters of Ceremony Mr. Vignesh and Ms. Gayathri, who warmly welcomed the gathering and set a festive tone for the day. The formal inauguration began with the Lighting of the Lamp by Director Dr. Molly S. Chaudhuri, symbolizing wisdom and prosperity. This was followed by the Banner Drop of Thiruvonam, officially marking the start of the festivities.

A highlight of the program was the grand entry of Vamana and King Mahabali, which beautifully recreated the essence of Onam and filled the atmosphere with excitement. A graceful Welcome Dance performed in front of the artistically decorated Pookalam further enhanced the festive spirit, captivating the audience.

The stage then came alive with a variety of dance performances by students, showcasing creativity and cultural expression. Traditional and fun-filled games such as Tug of War, Hit the Pot (blindfolded), Glass Pyramid, and Race Holding Banana Leaf added to the joy and brought participants and spectators together in celebration.

The event concluded with a Prize Distribution Ceremony, where winners of the cultural and game events were felicitated, followed by a heartfelt Vote of Thanks expressing appreciation to all contributors.

Thiruvonam 2K25 beautifully reflected Kerala’s rich cultural heritage while promoting harmony, joy, and festive spirit within the campus community.
