National Voter's Day

Manel Srinivas Nayak Institute of Management (MSNIM), Bondel, observed National Voters’ Day on 25 January 2026 at the Besant Campus, Mangaluru.

National Voters’ Day is celebrated across India to mark the foundation of the Election Commission of India and to encourage greater participation of citizens in the democratic process. The day aims to create awareness about the importance of voting and to promote informed and ethical electoral participation, particularly among the youth.

On this occasion, students and faculty members of the institute took a voters’ pledge, reaffirming their commitment to uphold the values of democracy and perform their duties as responsible citizens. The programme highlighted the importance of every vote in strengthening the democratic system of the country.

The event also emphasized the role of young voters in shaping the future of the nation. Students were encouraged to register as eligible voters, exercise their right to vote responsibly, and understand the importance of ethical and informed participation in elections.

Through this observance, MSNIM reiterated its commitment to nurturing socially responsible and civically aware individuals. The celebration served as a reminder that democracy becomes stronger when citizens actively participate in the electoral process.
