MSNIM organises ‘Sampark’ alumni meet

Manel Srinivas Nayak Institute of Management (MSNIM) organised Sampark, its annual Alumni Meet on Saturday, November 6 at the institute campus at Bondel. The objective of the meet was to bring together the alumni of all batches and also to felicitate the rank holders of the 20th batch. As many as 85 alumni members attended the meet.

Vittaldas Leeladar, former deputy governor, Reserve Bank of India and Mentor of the institute, was the chief guest on the occasion. Manel Annappa Nayak, vice president, Women’s National Education Society, institute director Dr. Molly S. Chaudhuri, Sandeep Baliga and Nanditha Sunil, president and secretary respectively of MSNIM Alumni Association were present on the occasion.

Drawing on personal experience, Vittaldas Leeladar said the success of alumni reflects on the success of the institution. “All over the world, strong Alumni Associations have proved to be the pillars of strength for the Alma Mater,” he said.

Manel Annappa Nayak suggested having batch wise alumni get together. Institute director Dr Molly S Chaudhuri said alumni are welcome to visit the campus at any time, conduct workshops and share their experiences with the present batches. “Alumni visits to the campus will help in reducing the Industry-Academia gap,” she said.

Sandeep Baliga welcomed the gathering. Nanditha Sunil gave the vote of thanks. Soujanya was the master of ceremonies.
