MSNIM organises HR Conclave on Workplace 4.0

Manel Srinivas Nayak Institute of Management (MSNIM) hosted a weeklong ‘HR Conclave on Workplace 4.0’ in association with Kanara Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KCCI) at the institute campus at Bondel in the city. The objective of the conclave was to enable MBA students, academicians and professionals to understand the current requirements of the workplace in industry post pandemic from corporate HR heads.

The conclave was formally inaugurated on Monday, October 4, 2021 by Shashidhar Pai Maroor, the newly elected president of Kanara Chamber of Commerce & Industry. Manel Annappa Nayak, vice president, Women’s National Education Society and chief advisor, MSNIM presided over the function. The dignitaries present were the institute’s Governing Body member Jeevandas Narayan (former CMD of State Bank of Travancore), P B Ahmed Mudassar (director and head of Industry-Academia Inter Connect, KCCI) and Mytreya Ajila (COO of KCCI).

The four days conclave consisted of eminent speakers like Richard Lobo (Executive Vice President, Infosys Ltd.),  Surya Mohapatra (Global head -Talent Transformation, Wipro), Sandeep SP (Country HR Head, Rolls Royce India), Nidhi Pasricha (Associate Director –Talent, Ernst and Young), Rajesh Prasad (HR Lead Business Partner, Wipro Technologies) and Joseph Pasanga (Regional Director – South, Narayana Health).

An alumni panel comprising the institute’s past students Zeeval Khan, Ankitha Shetty, Sandeep Baliga and Raghavendra Bhat also participated in the conclave.
