Manel Srinivas Nayak Institute of Management (MSNIM) successfully hosted Mangalore Entrepreneurs’ Day – IDEATION ’25 on 25th November 2025, with the vision of nurturing entrepreneurial thinking and fostering collaboration among business leaders, investors, startups, and aspiring entrepreneurs. Designed as an action-oriented platform rather than a ceremonial gathering, the event focused on sparking ideation, strengthening networks, and encouraging business-building initiatives that contribute to Mangaluru’s growing entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Event Objectives

IDEATION ’25 aimed to:

  • Ignite entrepreneurial ambition among students and early-stage business founders.
  • Facilitate meaningful networking between innovators and industry leaders.
  • Inspire business creation that promotes employment and contributes to regional economic development.

The program witnessed participation from entrepreneurs, academicians, policymakers, trade organization representatives, startup founders, and students—reflecting a well-balanced entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Inaugural Session

The event commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp, marking the formal beginning of the day’s proceedings.

Chief Guest: Mr. P. B. Ahmed Mudassar, President – KCCI
In his keynote address, Mr. Mudassar emphasized that entrepreneurial success is often a blend of capability and timely opportunity. Citing Zerodha as an example, he highlighted that the present era of Viksit Bharat provides young entrepreneurs with unprecedented prospects to innovate and scale.
