Industrial Visit - 2026
Manel Srinivas Nayak Institute of Management, in association with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), organized an Industrial Visit to Munnar, Kerala from 18th April 2026 to 21st April 2026 as part of experiential learning and academic enrichment initiatives.
The industrial visit aimed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical exposure by providing students with firsthand experience of industrial operations, management practices, production systems, quality control measures, and organizational culture.

The visit included educational tours to:
- Macofa Chocolate Factory, Munnar
- Kanan Devan Hills Plantations Company (P) Limited - Ripple Tea, Munnar
Visit to Macofa Chocolate Factory
During the visit to Macofa Chocolate Factory, students were introduced to the history, growth, and operations of the organization. Industry experts explained the complete chocolate manufacturing process, beginning from the procurement of cocoa and raw materials to packaging and distribution.

Visit to Kanan Devan Hills Plantations Company (P) Limited - Ripple Tea
The industrial visit to Ripple Tea provided students with practical exposure to tea cultivation, plantation management, and tea processing techniques followed in the industry.
Officials of the plantation explained the functioning of the tea production process and the importance of maintaining product quality in competitive markets.
