“Chaithanya” - Outreach Program at Veronica Vihar

As part of its social responsibility and community engagement initiatives, the NSS Cell of Manel Srinivas Nayak Institute of Management organized an outreach program titled “Chaithanya” at Veronica Vihar, Maryhill, on 20 December 2025. The program was designed to spread joy, strengthen social bonds, and foster emotional well-being among the residents through meaningful interaction and cultural engagement.

The team received a warm welcome from Sr. Maria Jyothi and Sr. Freeda, whose gracious hospitality set a positive and welcoming tone for the visit. The program was graced by the presence of the Director, Dr. Molly S. Chaudhuri, along with faculty members of the institute, whose encouragement and support added value to the initiative.

Students actively organized and performed a vibrant cultural program featuring singing, dancing, and interactive activities. The enthusiastic participation of both students and residents created a lively and joyful atmosphere. Residents joined the students in songs and dance, reflecting a spirit of inclusiveness, shared happiness, and mutual respect.

A key highlight of the program was the heartfelt interaction between the students and the residents. Informal conversations, shared laughter, and collective participation helped build strong emotional connections and brought smiles to everyone present. Through this experience, students gained valuable insights into empathy, compassion, and the importance of social responsibility.

The Chaithanya Outreach Program proved to be a meaningful and memorable experience for both the students and the residents of Veronica Vihar.
