Street Play Workshop By Sri. Jagan Pawar
The Manel Srinivas Nayak Institute of Management (MSNIM), Besant Campus, Bondel, Mangalore, organized an engaging Workshop on Street Play on 3rd March 2025 at Swarna Academy Hall.
The event commenced with a warm welcome by Ms. Gayathri (I Year MBA) and a brief introduction of the guest by Mr. Thejas (I Year MBA), followed by a soulful prayer rendered by MSNIM students.
The workshop was inaugurated by Sri Jagan Pawar, the chief guest, who highlighted the power of street play as a compelling medium to raise awareness on critical social issues. Ms. Molly S. Chaudhuri, Director of MSNIM, addressed the gathering, emphasizing the importance of street plays in management education—especially in fostering communication, leadership, and community engagement skills. The inaugural concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Prajna Acharya.
Post-inauguration, students participated in hands-on training sessions on the theme “Waste Segregation”, aimed at promoting environmental responsibility and sustainable practices. Divided into groups, they explored various aspects of street play performance under the guidance of Sri Jagan Pawar.
The sessions included activities to develop time management, collaboration, emotional intelligence, and communication skills, helping students connect management principles with creative expression. By the end of the workshop, participants had strengthened their confidence and learned to use street plays as a powerful tool for social change.
