Online celebration of International Yoga Day.

On June 22, 2021, during 11 a.m. to 12.30 p.m., Manel Srinivas Nayak Institute of Management hosted an online celebration of International Yoga Day.

“Yoga is a priceless gift from India's ancient culture. It's not about being in shape, but about discovering a sense of oneness with yourself, the world, and your nation.

The 7th International Yoga Day was celebrated on a virtual platform. Students performed different asanas under the guidance of Yoga instructor Mr. Dharaneesh Kenjar from at Sri Patanjali Yoga Education Committee. Mr. Dharneesh Kenjar addressing the students “Yoga is essential for developing holistic health by increasing physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. We will be in a tranquil state in our daily lives if we gradually incorporate yoga into our lives and make it an intrinsic part of our lives.”

On this occasion, Dr Molly Chaudhuri shared the importance and need of practicing yoga to stay fit and healthy. She added that the celebration of International Yoga Day was a reminder to incorporate yoga in everyday routine to enjoy a happy life and reduce the effects of stress and other physical ailments and practice of yoga will surely help our students achieve a better life, physically, mentally and spiritually as well.
