MRPL-MSNIM Vigilance Awareness Week Competitions 2020
Manel Srinivas Nayak Institute of Managementin association with Mangalore Refineries and Petrochemicals Ltd, has hosted "MRPL-MSNIMVigilance Awareness Week Competitions 2020”as a part of MRPL’s Vigilance Awareness Programmefor students. The theme for this year is ‘Vigilant India, Prosperous India’. Thecompetitions held this year were: Essay in three languages (English, Kannada,and Hindi), Poster/E-Poster competitions and E-Quiz competitions to createawareness and to curb corruption.
There were overwhelming responsesfor the competitions from colleges across pan India. 4120 E-Certificates wereissued for the Quiz competition, 105 entries were received for the essay andposter competition.
The award distribution ceremony washeld on 29th Oct 2020 in MSNIM campus at Bondel and participantsjoined via online platform.
The inaugural program was followed by announcing the winners of various competitions which were held online. In each category, 5 prizes constituting 1st,2nd,3rd and 2 consolations were awarded. The Winners were :
English Essay 1st VEENA SHETTY from Govinda Dasa Degree College, Surathkal, 2nd SATHWIK SHETTY from Canara Engineering College, Mangalore, 3rd DILNA. K from The School of Social Work Roshni Nilaya Mangalore.
Hindi Essay 1st KIRAN M KG from College of Arts and Science, Coimbator, 2nd FATHIMA from GFGC Belthangady , 3rd VENISHYA LASADO from CARMEL college Bantwal.
Kannada Essay 1st SHARATH SHETTY from Dr. B B Hegde First Grade college, Kundapura, 2nd KAVYA P from Dayananda Pai P Sathisha Pai GFGC, Mangaluru, 3rd ROSHNEY VILMA LOBO from CARMEL college Bantwal
Poster Competition 1st ANKITHA PAI from SDM College, Ujire, 2nd SOLITA RODRIGUES from Bhandarkars' Arts & Science College, Kundapura, 3rd REKHAPRAKASH ACHAR from Vivekanada College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Puttur.
The programme was witnessed by Staff of MRPL, faculty, staff and students of MSNIM, and Participants and winners of competitions of various colleges across India through Zoom. Ms. Divya Shetty, Asst. Professor MSNIM and Mr. Praveen Pinto, Senior Manager, MRPL coordinated the entire programme. Ms Ridhvika Shetty compered the programme.
