International Conference on Innovation, Technology and Sustainability: Effects On Business

Manel Srinivas Nayak Institute of Management (MSNIM), Mangaluru, successfully organized the International Conference on "Innovation, Technology and Sustainability: Effects on Business" on 25 June 2026. The conference brought together academicians, researchers, industry experts, scholars, and students to discuss emerging trends in innovation, technology, and sustainable business practices.

The conference was inaugurated with a prayer and welcome address by Dr. Molly S. Chaudhuri, Director, MSNIM, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp. The inaugural session was graced by Dr. Sandeep Shenoy, In-charge Director, MSCE and Registrar Evaluation Designate, MAHE; Dr. Mcxin Tee, Associate Professor and Head of Programme, INTI International University, Malaysia; and Mr. Manel Annappa Nayak, President, Women's National Education Society. The conference overview was presented by Dr. Shilpi Saha, Conference Coordinator, followed by the release of the conference proceedings.

The keynote address was delivered by Dr. Mohammad Zuber, Chief Innovation Officer, MAHE, who shared valuable insights on innovation management, digital transformation, and sustainable business models.

Technical sessions were conducted under five tracks - General Management, Finance, Human Resource Management, Marketing, and Student Research. More than 80 research papers, including contributions from premier institutions such as the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs), were presented and discussed under the guidance of distinguished session chairs.

The valedictory session featured the conference report by Dr. Shilpi Saha, an address by Dr. Vikram Baliga, Associate Director – Research, Corporate Engagement and Quality Assurance, MSCE, MAHE, and the Presidential Address by Mr. Ajith Kamath. Best Paper Awards were presented to outstanding faculty and student researchers across all technical tracks.

The conference successfully provided an international platform for research presentation, promoted collaboration between academia and industry, encouraged interdisciplinary discussions, and reaffirmed MSNIM's commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and sustainable business development.
