On July 13, 2022, a workshop on Career Options in Wealth

Management, Broking, and Banking was held in Swarna Academic Hall, MSNIM. The workshop began at 10 a.m. with our special guests, Mr. Arun Kumar and Mrs. Pavithra Vikas. Mr. Arun Kumar began his workshop by asking what the role of a Master of Business Administration is in the corporate world. He also stated that a business administrator & role is to strategize the company & profitability and safety. He advised us by using real-life examples of how a business administrator & decisions matter in various business situations. During the session, he stressed the importance of wealth management (money management) by saying, “If you care about money, money will care about you”. He shared his life lessons learned during the pandemic, such as how a bowl of rice and sambar is more than enough to live on and how people became healthier due to the lack of alcohol availability. Finally, he spoke about NIIT Mangalore and their collaborations with various banks and consultancies. It was a fruitful session; we learned that MBAs do not create problems; rather, they provide solutions. This session came to an end at 11:10 a.m.
