B.Com. (Bachelor of Commerce)
The Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) program, affiliated with Mangalore University, is a three-year undergraduate degree course spread across six semesters. The program is designed to provide students with a strong academic foundation in commerce, accounting, finance, taxation, economics, and management principles.
The curriculum integrates theoretical knowledge with practical exposure, enabling students to develop analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. It equips learners with essential competencies in areas such as financial accounting, corporate accounting, business law, taxation, marketing, human resource management, entrepreneurship, and business communication.
The B.Com. program also emphasizes professional ethics, leadership skills, and effective communication, preparing students to adapt to the evolving demands of the business and corporate environment. With a balanced focus on academic excellence and career readiness, the program offers pathways for higher education such as M.Com., MBA, CA, CMA, CS, and also opens opportunities for entry-level positions in commerce, banking, finance, accounting, and corporate sectors.
Eligibility
Students who have successfully completed Pre-University Course (PUC) / Higher Secondary / 10+2 examination or an equivalent examination from any recognized Board or Council, in any discipline, are eligible for admission.
Admission Procedure
Application forms can be obtained from the college office or downloaded from the official website.
Duly filled application forms must be submitted along with the following documents:
- SSLC and PUC Marks Cards
- Transfer Certificate (TC)
- Conduct Certificate
- Passport-size photographs
- Caste and Income Certificate (if applicable)
- Aadhar Card (Photocopy)
- Migration Certificate and Provisional Pass Certificate issued by their Previous Board/Council (for other than Karnataka State Pre-University Board).
- Migration Certificate and Provisional Pass Certificate issued by their Previous Board/Council and Eligibility Certificate from Mangalore University (for other state students)
Admissions are made on a first come, first served basis, subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria.
Selected candidates must confirm their admission by paying the prescribed fees within the stipulated time.
Admission will be provisional until it is approved by Mangalore University.
