A webinar on IPR was conducted on 31/03/203 at 11.00 A.M, Swarna Auditorium MSNIM Besant Campus, Bondel, Mangalore by Pragati College of Arts and Commerce, Dombiveli. the expert speaker was Dr. Mangala hirwade, Associate Professor of the Department of Library and Information Science at RIMNU, Nagpur. The webinar was attended by the 1st year students of the MBA department. Mangala Hirwade gave a brief explanation of the Introduction of IPR, facts of IPR-Patent, Design, Trademark GI, and copyright. She also added IPR databases, Big Piracy and TKDL, and the Patenting System in India. IP is a property that is the product of an individual's intellect in the form of symbols, names, sounds, music, inventions, paintings, photographs, movies, technology design, etc. Along these, were taught how IPR will help the development of new videos for the betterment of society and how IPR provides total control over innovation and its creator students were taught how IPR ideas on how small innovations influence society and how they should indulge in innovating and patenting ideas that will be useful for all the class of individuals in the society.
