“BEST OUT OF WASTE”

The innovative Club of the institute organized the “Best Out of Waste” activity for 23rd Batch students on 15th February 2023 in Kaveri Hall. The participants had to utilize the waste products provided by the organizers and create sellable products.

Four teams consisting of eight to nine members in each group took part in the competition. The group leaders collected the waste materials for making the products. The time duration allocated for the competition was two hours.

The groups presented various colorful and creative products within the time limit. The products displayed for the purpose of judging. Prof. Nanditha, Prof. Chitranjali , Dr. Reema Frank, Mrs. Yogitha, and Mrs. Tanuja appraised the products on various criteria.

Evaluation by judges led to the prize announcement. Group 4 secured the first place in the ‘Best Out of Waste’ activity with their unique and attractive products. Group 2 won the second place, followed by Group 3 in third place and group 1 in the last place.

The competition ended with joy and smiles on everyone’s face as they enjoyed the working as a team. This activity was pleasing as it taught the students to be creative and think out of box. The students acknowledged the practice of team spirit and innovation.
